Formes esthétiques et enjeux du théâtre néo-documentaire : une approche du ‘savoir sensible’

For the last twenty years, we have observed the emergence of a movement called neo-documentary in the international theatre space. This movement, which is fully in line with dramatic postmodernism, shifts the narrative and the drama. This paper proposes a presentation in two points: first, an introduction to documentary theatre and its limits, overcome by new contemporary forms such as neo-documentary theatre and reenactment; and second, the questioning of various dramaturgical strategies of these theatres such as the dramaturgy of the “sensitive knowledge,” which designates the knowledge obtained through sensations.
